Job purpose
This is a secretarial position of an administrative nature. Our Administrative Assistant performs a variety of secretarial/ clerical, and administrative duties requiring good knowledge of the office’s needs. He/She will also be acting as the General Manager’s PA when needed.
Duties and responsibilities
· Answers telephone, takes messages and answers inquiries within assigned scope of responsibility
· Schedules appointments, maintains calendar.
· Schedules meetings and reserve rooms for meetings, follows up to confirm.
· Maintains files and financial records
· Liaises with banks.
· Monitors departmental materials and supplies and orders as needed.
· Responsible for keeping the General Manager’s office ready for any meeting.
· Responsible for maintaining petty cash drawer
· Responsible for office equipment.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
