The new chat application to compete with WhatsApp doesnt need internet

Google has unveiled its collaboration with GSMA Industrial Group, in order to develop a messaging application which relies on correspondence "RCS" technology in order to compete with other chat applications such as Whatsapp and Viper.

Google said the new service will also be an alternative to the messaging service SMS, where the RCS technology will allow the user to send text messages and make voice calls and exchanging files and images, moreover it provides video communication services.

Currently, Google is seeking to make the service work through the operator of mobile lines companies and not only through the Internet, in order to compete with the SMS technology. Google also plans to launch its service, which is being developed to work on all operating systems such as Android and IOS.
