Elections section For AlSumaria website

Softimpact launches a new section for the Iraqi elections in AlSumaria’s website. The section is a completely independent one with its own menu and pages. It brings together all the details of the upcoming elections mainly regarding each province, including entities and coalitions.

Moreover, the visitor is kept within the elections’ timeframe through a time counter that exists in all the pages of the section. The purpose of this timer is to count down the days and hours until the elections arrive, and when this date comes, it automatically reverses to counting the days since the elections started.

The home page also features some more details that keep the visitor in the atmosphere, such as special reports, a photo gallery with descriptions, polls, a legal documents’ engine, social media integration and a section listing dynamically the most active coalitions.

Additionally –and what Softimpact is mostly proud of- the home page holds an interactive map, which allows the user to maximize, minimize, roll over the provinces and click for more information about each one. The user of this map is free to navigate to each province in a smooth and user-friendly fashion, to see the all the active coalitions, as well as he can search by coalition to see the names of its members and where it is active on the Iraqi territories.
