Softimpact proudly launched a new feature for Alsumaria news that allows the website to automatically read any news text on the website. Users can either choose to listen to the full or a selected part of the article.
How it works:
1- Readers can choose any news.
2- Once readers press on the button “Play text to speech”.
3- A robot will start reading the full article with a clear human voice.
The Digital Media Center praised Alsumaria News for launching this new feature that will serve many segments of Iraqi society.
The Digital Media Center added that "this service will provide great facilities for people with special needs or those who have vision problems or those who want to hear the news while driving."
The center called on all news and educational institutions in Iraq to "follow this important digital step to facilitate services to users, especially the official state websites where this service is available in most of the developed countries."
The feature of automatically reading the news is used for the first time by Iraqi news organizations and a Lebanese website development company, which is a distinct development in the digital world.
