No one can predict where social platforms are heading. But what we can know is what strategies marketers are actually planning to implement based on their real-word experiences.
So let’s see where will marketers be spending more time and money on their social media platforms in 2020?
A survey was conducted, and over 1000 people responded. So here’s what they said:
Which social media platforms will marketers spend most of their time in 2020?
Only 4 major platforms were included in this survey, since they are the most important in Lebanon so far.
The results show that Instagram will be the most platform marketers will spend time on in 2020, followed by Facebook.
Other social platforms — such as Pinterest, YouTube and Snapchat — were not included, so it’s more of a general overview in this respect. That's not to say that these other platforms won't play a major role for some businesses, but to keep the poll focus more general, we only included the major players here.
Knowing these results, next will likely indicates:
1. Competition will be fierce on Instagram
2. Competition will less struggle on other platforms
3. Ads will increase on Instagram
So, if you’re aiming to market on Instagram in 2020, make sure you have a strong, meaningful, and attractive content or you will lose out to the competition.
What type of content will marketers use in 2020 to meet their goals?
Also 4 types of content were used in this survey. And what was curious about here is that there weren’t one dominating type. All types were almost as important.
As the year comes to an end, it's worth using this quieter time to reflect on what older strategies you'll bring into the new decade, and what newer ones it may be time to implement.
