Meta increases the duration of Reel videos on Facebook to 90 seconds

Meta has announced that it has raised the maximum video length for short clips, "Reels" on its Facebook platform, to 90 seconds, after it was only 60 seconds.
Meta is also incorporating memories into the mix, with a new option to "Publish reel" from your memories prompt.
Millions of Facebook users share their memories via the app every day, and by adding reels as a distribution option, this could be an easy way to get more people to coordinate and check reels in the app.
While it may be a direct replica of TikTok, rails have been a huge advantage for Meta, as views of rails across Facebook and Instagram have doubled over the past year, and re-shares of rails across platforms have doubled over the past six months.
