Will your business be affected by the newest Facebook updatesæ
November 19, 2019
Facebook has declared that soon it will start putting a limit on the number of Ads promoted on a Page.
As clarified by Facebook:
"In mid-2020, we are implementing a limit on the number of ads each Page can run at the same time. The ad limits will impact just a small percentage of advertisers, and we plan to share more details about the limits early next year."
Which appears to be odd because why would Facebook limit how much a brand spends on marketing and promotions on the platform?
As indicated by Facebook:
"We’re implementing ad limits because very high ad volume can hinder an advertiser’s performance. With too many ads running at the same time, fewer ads exit the learning phase and more budget is spent before the delivery system can optimize an ad’s performance."
As confirmed by Facebook, the change will just effect few brands, so it's not likely that your business will be influenced. Facebook will be implementing new updates, by mid 2020, such as: removal of several video ad metrics and a few updates to the messaging options for businesses.
