New features by WhatsApp Business
November 14, 2019
WhatsApp is currently working on monetization with a new option that will help brands showcase their products Via WhatsApp Business app. This new product catalog feature will help users get more information about a certain product as well as images of the products and items they offer or provide.
WhatsApp explained:
“Catalogs are a mobile storefront for businesses to showcase and share their goods so people can easily browse and discover something they would like to buy. Previously businesses had to send product photos one at a time and repeatedly provide information — now customers can see their full catalog right within WhatsApp.”
WhatsApp is also developing a new feature: WhatsApp Pay, that will allow individuals to transfer money within the app, it makes sense that WhatsApp is working to develop its business tools in order to empower more consumer activity within the mobile app.
WhatsApp's new catalog feature is being made available to businesses in Germany, the U.K., the U.S., and several other countries and the rest will be coming soon.
