A single go-to App by Microsoft
November 7, 2019
Microsoft uncovered another Office application for iOS and Android that consolidates three most mainstream applications - Word, Excel and PowerPoint - into a solitary go-to application for mobile productivity.
The clients are no longer in need to download each application independently, the company declared. "With the new Actions pane, you can intuitively complete a variety of common on-the-go tasks, such as creating and signing PDFs and sharing files between devices," said Jared Spataro, Corporate Vice President for Microsoft 365.
The Office application is accessible to Android and iOS users.
The plan is to make life easier for users and to simply content creation for them. The update features the possibility of taking a photo of a text and converting it into an editable word document, or change tables from a printed page to Excel.
The organization additionally reported the general accessibility of the all-new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge browser that is set to be released in January 2020. The above browser allows clients to have direct access to Microsoft 365 documents.
According to the company, Microsoft Edge is presently accessible crosswise over gadgets, including Windows 10, Windows 8x, Windows 7, macOS, iOS and Android.
