Facebook plans to reveal the identity of whoever is calling you
April 27, 2015
Facebook released its beta version of its new application called Hello for android phones. The new app that is linked with smartphone users on Facebook will show you info about who’s calling you, even if you don’t have that number saved in your phone and will allow you to text and make calls through Messenger application instead of making a phone call. Hello is Facebook’s last attempt to link smartphone users to its platform after the failure of its last application: Home.
Benefits of Hello:
- Caller ID even if they’re not in your contacts
- Easily block unwanted calls
- Automatically block numbers that have also been blocked by other users
- Looking up addresses, people and places registered on Facebook
- Staying up to date with all your contact’s information including new profile pics and birthdays
- Free calling and messaging through Messenger application
- Calling and editing your contacts exactly as you would in your phone’s address book.
