Bridgestone’s new Facebook App for Christmas’ promotion is Softimpact’s one of the latest and trendiest social media applications and interactive tools to successfully market its clients and reach a larger crowd.
The application consists of 3 simple steps; Snapping your favourite Christmas public decoration, uploading it to Bridgestone’s Facebook page and Sharing it with friends.
Multiple media, such as Facebook ads, sponsored posts on Bridgestone’s Facebook page and pop up messages were used to attract more traffic to the application and that is by displaying the valuable prize.
The application’s feel and look were conceived in a way to help the user navigate easily between the pages. Other tools were added to the app to make it as practical as possible such as “submit entry” page, “list of all entries” page and a detailed page of each entry; the list of entries includes a search tool and a filter to browse by most viewed, most shared and alphabetical order while the detailed page displayed more details such as a bigger view of the picture uploaded, comments board underneath and the description that the contestant originally submitted. User can navigate from the detailed page to other entries by next and previous buttons or go back to all entries and choose the one he desires.
